Through hard work, resilience, and an unwavering spirit, anything is possible. Maner Puyawan’s journey in the United States is proof of that.
Growing up in a modest home in Bulacan, Maner learned early on the value of perseverance. His father, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Saudi Arabia, instilled in him a strong work ethic and an understanding of the sacrifices made for the sake of family. Though his beginnings were humble, Maner dreamed big, believing he could create a brighter future not only for himself, but for everyone around him.
Maner began his career in IT in the Philippines. Determined to pursue greater opportunities, he moved to the US, starting out in New York before settling in Las Vegas. It was there that he transformed his dreams into reality, founding Xentra in 2014 with just five employees. Under his leadership, Xentra grew into a thriving company with over 150 employees. In a full-circle moment, Maner brought operations back to his hometown of Malolos, Bulacan—a testament to his roots and gratitude.
Despite his personal success, Maner has never lost sight of his origins and embodies the Filipino proverb, “He who does not look back to where he came from will never get to where he’s going.” His efforts were recognized in 2022 when he was honored with the Las Vegas Top Tech award.
Today, Maner’s priority is ensuring that his employees continue to flourish. He takes pride in seeing them achieve their own dreams, viewing his team as an extension of his family. His story is not just one of individual success but of a leader who champions others—proof that with passion, perseverance, and a genuine desire to uplift those around you, dreams really do come true.
